Allana was a player for Australia at Rugby Sevens 2013 and then suffered consecutive injuries to her knees, which caused Allana onto the sidelines. The Australian returned to the cricket after some time. Allana played in her first female rugby union match which was held with New South Wales as was the star of that match against Queensland. Allana also added radio to the game, and has regularly appearances on 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana also holds a teaching diploma. Allana Ferguson has the unique accomplishment of playing for Australia in three different sports: the rugby sevens (rugby league), touch and the rugby union.
